AcceleratorYYC Communications Assistant
Gain valuable Marketing, PR, Events, and Community Management experience as well as make connections in the tech startup community as the AcceleratorYYC Summer Student!
This is a very exciting time to be part of the startup community in Calgary and Canada, in general! We have many exciting initiatives — mentorship programs, business accelerator workshops, bootcamps, etc. — and are only just getting started.
What Does the Job Entail?
We are looking for an entrepreneurial go-getter to help us:
● Prepare for conferences (AccelerateAB, MoSo, & GROW)
● Write blog posts (about member startups, educational/research-based info, etc.)
● Create resources and templates for early stage companies
● Help with communications (e-newsletters, social media, signage, etc.)
● Promote partnership/sponsorship opportunities
● Promote programs and events
● Write press releases & announcements
● Support our Member startups
● Manage day to day operations
● and MORE!

What Skills We Are Looking For?
● At least two years of marketing, communications, or PR courses
● Writing- understand messaging and use proper grammar
● Understand content marketing/inbound marketing
● Very comfortable with online blogging, tweeting, and making YouTube videos
● Positive attitude
● Very flexible with structure and deadlines
Ideal Start Date: Start May 1, 2013
Time Commitment: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, May 1 - August 31, 2013

eSchedule is looking to add a talented developer to their development team with a passion for bringing customer value through technology. We are a rapidly growing company and have an equally growing need for enhancing our technology to benefit our customers and partners. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years experience on a small team developing software delivered online.

Qualifications:
- Familiarity with both traditional and agile software development methodologies
- Two or more years of software engineering experience including verifiable .NET n-tier development
- ASP.NET, C#, .NET 3.5, T-SQL, HTML, JavaScript
- Zoho API integration experience is a plus
- Knowledge in software design, object-oriented design and implementation techniques and n-tier application design; thorough understanding of design patterns and their application in software development.
- Practical experience designing and implementing .NET-centric, service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions and publicly-facing web services
- Must have the desire and experience to implement strong unit and service-level tests
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, logic, and organizational skills are absolutely required
