Design and marketing firm offering up to $20,000 worth of services to select startups and nonprofits
Calgary, AB CANADA — Foxied.com, an award-winning design and marketing agency, has announced the launch of their online community geared towards helping non-profits and bootstrapped startups. As an ongoing initiative Foxied will be sponsoring a non-profit organization or startup each month, providing selected organizations design and marketing services at absolutely no cost.
The sponsored startup or non-profit will receive up to $20,000 worth of design and marketing services, including everything from a logo and website, to email marketing services. Interested applicants must upload a 2-minute video “pitch” to www.foxied.com/Community describing who they are and what they do. Video submissions will then be voted on—with the top 3 videos receiving the most votes or “Likes” advancing to the finals. Foxied will then choose the winning organization from the remaining 3 finalists.
The Foxied community will also encourage skilled service providers (ie. Designers, web developers, marketers) to trade or donate their services to causes and startups they believe in.
Co-founders, Kylie Lakevold and Desere Pressey started Foxied out of their love for “doing good”. “There are so many great causes that are doing amazing things for the community and so many great ideas that deserve the support we can offer”, says Desere Pressey.
“Being involved in many bootstrapped ventures and non-profit projects, we know that they can’t always afford design and marketing services. We thought this was a great way to start building the Foxied community and hopefully encourage more service providers to do the same”, says Kylie Lakevold, co-founder of Foxied.
